Louisiana filing and annual report fees

Updated the Louisiana entry in the state directory and thecalculator to the fee schedule in effect since October 1, 2026 under Act 921 of the 2026 Regular Session: Articles of Organization now $125 (previously $100) and the LLC Annual Report $35 (previously $30). State costs and deadlines

The registered-agent guidenow distinguishes maintaining an eligible agent from buying a commercial service. The service buying guideseparates filing assistance, renewals, refunds and document access without promising a provider's terms. Eligibility examples use Delaware, California and Wyoming official guidance; they are not a rule for every state or applicant.

Estimate labels and source dates

Clarified that registered-agent ranges are budgeting assumptions, not provider quotes. The most recent fee-check date is the latest individual ledger date, not a claim that every entry was checked together. The methodologyand About page distinguish verified, sourced and pending entries and explain how affiliate commissions support the publication.
