Optional interest registration
If you register interest in future updates, we record your email address, the form's source tag, and the request time. Current forms do not save your checklist answers with your email. Older wizard requests may contain a result-category tag.
Email delivery is not active, and no sending schedule is set. Registering interest does not activate an email subscription. We do not sell the interest list.
Storage and retention
Interest requests are stored with Cloudflare. New requests expire after 90 days. Older records have no automatic expiration and remain pending manual review. Opt-out markers are retained so that a later request does not silently reverse an unsubscribe choice.
To ask about or request deletion of an interest record, contact hello@flagstatehq.com. We may need to verify that you control the email address before acting. An unsubscribe link, where provided, records the opt-out after confirmation.
Tool use and site measurement
The calculator keeps its comparison settings in the page URL so you can share them. Avoid including personal details in a shared URL. The printable checklist does not submit its entries to FlagState.
The checklist can optionally save progress in this browser's local storage. Saving is off until you choose it. The saved record contains only the checklist version and checked task IDs, with no email, company details or handwritten notes. It stays on that device until you turn saving off, reset progress or clear the browser's storage. Checkmarks are not sent to our event system. On a shared device, reset progress when you finish.
We count tool use, completed comparisons and checklists, referral views and clicks, and interest registrations to understand which pages help readers. These event records use a fixed set of page, action, placement, and partner categories. They do not include email addresses, answers, entered revenue, full URLs, or visitor identifiers. Aggregate event data in Cloudflare Analytics Engine is retained for three months.
Cloudflare also provides hosting, request protection, and a separate Web Analytics beacon on the public site. Those services handle request and usage information under Cloudflare's own privacy practices. This event-counting description is not a claim that the hosting provider processes no technical request data.
Affiliate links
Some links earn FlagState a commission. We identify them with a disclosure before the link. Following one takes you to the affiliate network and provider, which may use their own tracking and process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Their handling is separate from FlagState's aggregate event counts.
Google AdSense
FlagState loads Google's AdSense code for site verification and advertising setup. This connects your browser to Google. Google's processing is separate from FlagState's aggregate event records.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to personalize ads.
You can opt out of Google's personalized advertising through Ads Settings. Enter www.google.com/settings/ads in your browser to review those choices.
