Form FS-05 · State fee file · Not a government filing
New York LLC costs and state fees
New York combines a formation filing with a biennial statement. The standard projection also includes the one-time Certificate of Publication filing fee. Most LLCs must publish in two newspapers for six consecutive weeks and then file the certificate. Newspaper charges vary and are excluded from the projection; the certificate fee does not pay for those advertisements.

What the reviewed record says
Caveats kept separate from calculation
The standard publication case is not a complete startup budget: newspaper charges remain outside the estimate. A theatrical production company with limited liability company in its name may qualify for the publication exemption. Confirm applicability before relying on the standard figure. The biennial calculation follows the worksheet's fee-cycle convention, not a formation-date payment calendar.
